The school's colors are scarlet and gold, and its teams are called "Braves". Kamiakin High is classified as a 3A school, and it competes in the 3A Columbia Basin Big Nine League.

Kamiakin's biggest rivals in most sports are Southridge High School (located in southwest Kennewick) and Kennewick High School (in the east). Kamiakin's football team play their home games at Neil F. Lampson Stadium.

Kamiakin High School is a high school located in northwestern Kennewick, Washington. Kamiakin was founded in 1970 at 600 N Arthur Street in Kennewick.  The school is named after Kamiakin, a chief of the Yakama Tribe in the 1800s, and a leader of the American Indian side in the Yakima War.
